What is PDC
The Plaxis Development Community is a group of users of the Plaxis Code that supports the software development of Plaxis BV, because they believe that client support contributes to continuity in the development and a better value of the Plaxis Finite Element Code. Members of the PDC meet annually to discuss the results of the contracts with Plaxis BV and the progress of the developments.
To allow for effective contacts and discussions of the PDC and Plaxis BV, the Plaxis Development CUR Committee (PDCC) acts as the representative board. Members of the PDCC are elected by the PDC. The PDCC collects ideas for further development, sets the priorities, and controls the financial and other aspects like time and quality, in relation to the orders for Plaxis BV.
The PDCC is supported by CUR Building and Infrastructure a partner in CURNET in The Netherlands. CURNET is a unique network and meeting place of public and private organisations. The focus lies upon innovation in civil engineering. The field of attention is civil engineering, infrastructure, building techniques and geotechnics. The CURNET network plays a central role in the transformation of the knowledge demand into applicable knowledge.
